While attending a bachelor party in Las Vegas, four friends are enticed by two sexy escorts to join them at a private party way off the Strip. Once there, they are horrified to find themselves the subjects of a perverse game of torture, where members of the Elite Hunting Club are hosting the most sadistic show in town….

A couple of days before his wedding with Amy, Scott attends a bachelor party in Las Vegas with his friends Justin, Mike and Carter. They go to a Strip Club, where they meet the escorts Nikki and Angela that invite the four friends to go to a private party in the outskirts of Las Vegas. On the next morning, Scott, Mike and Carter realize that Mike, who is married with two children, is missing. Sooner they find that Nikki is also missing and they join to Angela to seek out the couple. They are abducted by a group of men and they discover that they will be submitted to sadistic tortures to satisfy the members of the Elite Hunting Club. Further, they find a surprising member of the club among the sick gamblers.

Who is APPATAKAR really?

APPATAKAR is the word which is regularly doing the rounds these days and is being often used in Tamil lingo, you would often hear people saying something like “Nee ena avalo periya Appatakar ah?”. So what does this word actually mean and what is the real reason for using it?.

FYI it actually refers to Amritlal Vithaldas Thakkar, popularly known as Thakkar Bapa, who was a famous social reformer and a spiritually sound man, The Government of India even issued a stamp in his honor in 1969. He was a very knowledgeable person and an expert in many fields, to such a level that he would promptly answer any question that was fired at him and Thakkar Bapa was popular in Madras(now Chennai) as APPA THAKKAR (there is also a school there by that name to tribute him).So if anyone was an expert in his field they jokingly called him Periya Appa Thakkar meaning “BIG APPA THAKKAR” and in due course it was made into APPATAKAR. Now we call a person Appatakar when he acts like a show-off.

Ghost Camera for Nintendo 3DS releases new trailer,It looks scary

For those who are fan of horror movies or horror games, you may be interested in an upcoming Nintendo 3DS game called Ghost Camera. If you’re wondering why that sounds so familiar, it might be because you have heard of a game called Fatal Frame, and yes it appears that the same minds behind Fatal Frame are the ones responsible for Ghost Camera as well.

The game would basically make use of augmented reality through the 3DS’s camera, and much like Fatal Frame, Ghost Camera would entail the gamer going about snapping some spooky photos while uncovering clues and what not, all of this in glasses-free 3D, mind you.

The game will be published by Tecmo Koei and it appears to be only available for the Japanese market for now. No word if and when it will be making its way into the US or internationally, but if you’re looking for a good scare, you might want to check out the trailer below. Alternatively you can check out Spirit Photo which is similar in nature and also for the Nintendo 3DS.

Spammers take over New York Times e-mail list

Nobody likes spam, unless it is the stuff that you find in between two slices of bread, and when coupled with a slice of cheese, it can be touted as the perfect breakfast. I guess The New York Times also hates spam, especially after some spammers hacked into the newspaper’s e-mail marketing list, sending out e-mails that informed former subscribers to call The New York Times in order to reinstate their subscriptions. What made this offer all the more tantalizing was an “exclusive” 50% discount off the original price.

The e-mail does look legit, with the message as follows, “Dear Home Delivery Subscriber, Our records indicate that you recently requested to cancel your home delivery subscription. … We do hope you’ll reconsider. … To continue your subscription call 1-877-698-0025 and mention code 38H9H.” Not many were fooled, since a large number of recipients were never subscribers in the first place, or are current subscribers who have yet to cancel their subscription. Apart from that, The New York Times also confirmed that this e-mail is a fake. Hopefully everything will be peachy keen for the paper from now on.

How to Resume Download broken file with IDM (Internet Download Manager)

Some times, when you tried to download the file with IDM(Internet Download Manager), it failed to dowload the file. You got frusterated when the file has already been downloaded more than 50%. Message appeared “Do you want to download the file from the begining”.

It happened due to the several facts & problems: -

When server stoped responding
Your Internet connection has problems
You manually pause it
stopped it to download it later some times.while you know it has the capability of resuming.
IDM failed, when it send the request to download it where it has stopped.

Response of the IDM was “Do you want to download it from the begining”. Definately you don’t want to download it from the begining while you have downloaded 1 GB or more. There are the tips and tricks to download the file from where IDM has stopped or you had paused it.

Open the same file in the browser, click to download it again, when dialogue window appear select to “download it later”. (Check to ensure that the file must have the same file size and from the same link/server).
Open IDM manager window and double click the file you have selected to “download later”
Select the full address field and press ctrl+c to copy to the clipboard.
Now, double click the file which has not been resuming and paste the address there which you have copied earlier in the address field press ok.
In the IDM manager window click the file and press resume. 90% of the resuming problems has been resolved by this little tip and trick.
